All eyes on security as president William Ruto set to visit the Technical University of Kenya

Before a head of state can visit a place, there are many protocols that are put in place to ensure that the president`s function is successful. The authorities from the place of visit set up a special schedule for excellent welcoming of the president.

Tomorrow, Thursday, December 8th, President William Ruto will be visiting the Technical University of Kenya, formerly known as the Kenya Polytechnic, for an event. He is invited to launch the S-Block and lay the foundation for the I and T blocks.

Since the beginning of this week, security officials have already been deployed in the regions around Washington to ensure everything is okay before the president's visit. All the business taking place inside this institution is closed today to give the visitors some humbling time.

Tomorrow will not be a normal school day for students, and all those who will be willing to attend the event are required to carry their school IDs and arrive at the institution as early as 7.20 a.m. The gate to the institution will be closed at 7:30 a.m. Police have been deployed around the institution to beef up security. All are welcome.
