Today, reports have emerged that the former Azimio campaign chairman hon Nderitu Muriithi has been given a new job at one of the goverment institutions just some few months after losing his gubernatorial seat to a UDA candidate.
As reported by the star news, the former governor of Laikipia county has been appointed by Dedan Kimathi University to be their research fellow. According to the vice chancellor of Dedan Kimathi University, Muriithi got this new job due to his contribution in the public service. The VC said that Muriithi will help them in improving the research in their institution. Muriithi lost his gubernatorial seat to hon Joshua Irungu of UDA party and since then, he has not been having any state job.
"Former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi has been appointed as a policy research fellow by the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology. Muriithi who was the leader of Raila Odinga’s campaign board lost his bid for a second term to UDA's Joshua Irungu. The university said the appointment is as a result of his contribution in public service." Said the reports.
