KNEC Makes Changes in the Following Schools a Day to The Start of The KCPE and KPSEA Examinations

Five schools will be merged in Baringo South to do the national examinations beginning tomorrow countrywide. This is following vandalism in various schools in the insecurity prone area. Pupils from Arabal, Chebinyiny, Kapindasum, Kasiela and Chemorongion primary schools will all sit for KCPE and KEPSEA exams at Chemorongion primary school.

Even though there is calmness in the area and locals have started going back home, Elijah Kiptoon, Headteacher Kapindasum Primary School says property in number of schools were vandalized by bandits, therefore pupils cannot go back to their schools and have all been assembled at one station.

Baringo south MP Charlse Kamuren said that the school infrastructure is overstretched after bandits vandalised schools structures and homes making it impossible for the people to resettle within the catchment area.

The KCPE and KPSEA Exams are scheduled to commence officially tomorrow, Monday 28 2022 and will end on Wednesday this Week. The KCSE exams for secondary school students will start on Wednesday immediately after KCPE and KPSEA.
