Teaching is one of the most underrated job in Kenya. Only lecturers are the ones who earn huge amounts. A basic salary of a primary teacher starts from Ksh.25000 while that of high school teacher at Ksh.35000.
Seniour teachers including the deputy principals and principals are the only ones earning a salary of approximately 100000.
However, this is different in International schools.International schools offers international curriculums and the most common being the British curriculum and American. This institutions fee ranges from half a million to 3 million.
