The teachers across the country have been advancing their studies with a hope of being promoted in future.This is to see their salary slips get fatter later.They have been spending a lot of money and time in acquiring these types of higher education in the country.
During the TSC promotions,the Commision has always given priorities to the teachers with higher qualifications.This has always ended up leaving behind the teachers with less qualifications for the administrative positions.However,at one point,the Commision raised the qualifications for the secondary school principals to Masters Degrees.Unfortunately,it failed to get enough applicants forcing it to re-advertise some chances and later making this qualification an added advantage.
Kenya Institute of Special Education has been training teachers who want to teach in special schools.These special schools do take care of different impairments.For instance,the Visually Impaired, Physically Impaired and those with Hearing Impairment.The primary school teachers have been joining this College inorder to improve on their skills.The College has announced its intake just at a time when there are ongoing applications for the Diploma Teachers in Primary schools.The teachers are expected to submit online applications as indicated below:
