The second week of the KCSE exam, which began last week, has come to an end. Numerous exam malpractices have been reported throughout the country while the exams have been taking place, with the government failing to find a way to stop them.
The principal of Anin Girls High School in Iten and her deputy principal were detained by police today for assisting students in stealing KCSE examinations, and they are still being held without bail.
They will assist the police in their investigations to identify additional offenders. The exam center managers have already been replaced, and the exams are proceeding normally. They have been detained until their court appearance on Tuesday.
The Anin girls were overjoyed when the school principal was discovered. Today, Kenyans are worried over the recent nationwide finding of cheating on exams in top schools.
