Morning Shoker To Grade 6 CBC Students As New Details Emerge About Transition to Junior Secondary

Competency based curriculum was introduced in the country by the government of president Uhuru Kenyatta. The government has been investing in this new curriculum through training thousands of teachers and construction of junior secondary schools classrooms.

According to the source, new details have just emerged about grade 6 transition to Junior secondary Schools. As per the report shared by Daily Nation, some few minutes ago, it has been reported that, secondary Schools have so far used all classrooms that were constructed for junior secondary school students who are being expected next year after sitting for their final exams at grade 6. Also the high school teachers have revealed that the CBC system transition will not be successful because all classrooms that were meant for junior secondary students are now fully occupied by form ones.

These are bad news to all grade 6 students who are also CBC pioneers because their classrooms have been fully occupied by form ones. This will also force the government to construct more classrooms.

This just comes in after President Uhuru Kenyatta confirmed that more than 6 million students are under the new curriculum.
