The Higher Studies Loans Board (HELB) is a government agency that has the authority to provide financial assistance to students who seek to continue their education at higher learning institutions. This financial aid is intended to assist students in paying their school fees as well as maintaining their living expenses in the form of a loan. According to a recent update from HELB on its official Twitter page, students pursuing a Craft Certificate or Diploma in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering, or those with necessary sea experience, have received positive news. Students who are involved are now entitled to apply for a loan for the training plan as a result of the news.
The students in the aforementioned group can apply for a loan by following the steps below:

2.Now that you've successfully created your account, you can log in with ease. After you've logged into your account, go to the First-Time Undergraduate Loan Application link. On the website, there will be an online form to fill out.
Note: Double-check that you've entered the correct information.
3.Go to the home page when you've finished filling out your form completely and double-check the information you've provided.
4. Fill out the HELB Form and print it.
After you've completed your form, double-check that you've signed all of the appropriate sections.
You can drop off the completed Helb form to a Huduma Center near you, or go to the Helb Head Office in Nairobi.
