The famous American filmmaker Walt Disney once said that all our dreams can come true but only if we have the courage to pursue them. This is the case with one Dennis Cheruiyot a form three student at RCA Kiplombe secondary school in Turbo, Uasin Gishu county. Cheruiyot is the young man who was recorded running to school early last week and was running against marathoners.
The video which went viral after it was posted and shared by millions of Kenyans in various platforms finally attracted bigwigs. This is after a Brazilian Coach who is responsible for Training professional athletes in Kenya came to his aid. Neto Goncalves revealed that he was the person who recorded the student and has volunteered to guide and train the student until he realizes his dream and talent.
"My name is Dennis and I am training with this Brazilian coach. I have the passion of running and I thank God for it," Cheruiyot stated in another video shared by Goncalves on Tuesday, July 20.
According to the coach, they met at a training ground in Uasin Gishu where he realized the talent in the boy, he disclosed that the young man was aspiring to become a professional athlete and represent Kenya one day.
