Kakamega governor hon FCPA Fernandez Barasa has today visited Konyonzo Boys High School. This is after the school rugby team was crowned the national rugby sevens champions and silver medalist at the East African games in Arusha Tanzania.
After congratulating the team and the school for emerging victorious, governor Barasa has promised to sponsor the needy students through his administration.

"My administration will sponsor needy players in the team, as well as create an ecosystem that will allow such talents to be nurtured. Barasa said.
Governor Barasa was accompained by hon Peter Nabulindo member of Parliament for Matungu constituency among others.
Konyonzo Boys High School is found in Matungu constituency in Kakamega county.
Governor Barasa was elected as the second governor of Kakamega county after defeating Cleophas Malala in the just concluded general election.
