Kimwarer Boys High School is a Kenyan public secondary school that is located in Elgeyo Marakwet, Keiyo South constituency. According to the information that has been posted on Facebook Page by the popular blogger Mutai Mtandao learners have been sent home after the unrest.
It should be remembered that Kenyan schools have faced a big challenge since this term started. Nearly 60 secondary schools have been burnt down. This is something that made 5he Ministry of Education and other education stakeholders reintroduce a half term break that ended two weeks ago. It was meant to help students to get a rest. But it has not worked since the unrest continues. Two days ago, Maranda National School was torched for the second time.
What could be the problem our children are going through in boarding institutions?
In my view, the government should interrogate and come up with measures of controlling the situation.
