Akothee and senator Omanga vow to help the top KCPE candidate struggling to raise school fees

The candidate who scored 401 marks had been forced to repeat class eight for lack of school fees. Singer Akothee and nominated senator Millicent Omanga have promised to pool resources together inoder to help her join form one.

In an update, madam boss, noted that she will join hands with a few of her friends to ensure Diana Nyokabi is enrolled into high school instead of repeating class eight due to lack of school fees. On the other hand senator Omanga requested Kenyans to link her with the girl so that she can help.

Kaduyi member of parliament Wafula Wamunyinyi also reported that Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati had taken up the matter and Nyokabi will be enrolled into high school.

The willingness to help come hours after Diana and her mother went public with their struggles they have been through in the quest to raise school fees.

Speaking to journalists at Bungoma DEB primary school where she sat for her exam, Nyokabi said she was selected to join her dream school Moi girls high school, Eldoret but her parents were unable to pay the school fees.
