We have all heard the debate about closure of schools all over the media platforms. The ministry of education have worked hard to get students back to classes and they have used alot of resources to ensure it happens. Now it would be a major set back to the government because when the schools are closed down again it means taking a big step back for the government.
Education ministry has been seen trying to meet both ends meet by working with the ministry of health to ensure Covid-19 cases in schools have been dealt with. "We are not about to close schools unless advised by the Ministry of Health, but we are putting our heads together to work our modalities of reopening other classes,” said Dr Kipsang said as quoted by Citizen Digital.
“I get daily briefs by 5 am from our eight regional directors of education, who by then must have received theirs from county directors. So we have a daily update on any reported case,” PS Belio Kipsang said. As per 28th October, 17th students and 33 teachers have been tested positive. Lets keeo safe comrades.
