Kenya national examination council has made changes that will affect 2021 Kenya Certificate of secondary examination.(KNEC).
Through a circular dated 11th may 2021 which was addressed to: Tsc county directors ,sub county directors and principals of secondary schools. Kenya national examination council said it has released the seventh edition of the Alimentary mathematical table.
According to Kenya national examination council, the new four figure mathematical table will be adopted to all schools in preparation for 2021 exams.
The new four figure table has been improved both in the content and presentation to enhance precision in mathematics and science calculations.
The content also is restricted to the essential tables that are relevant for the Knec examinations.
According to Kenya national examination, the current edition has additional security features which will help to mitigate against counterfeit by rogue traders.Fake mathematical tables have inaccurate contents which mislead learners hence leading to poor performance in examination.
