The residents of the Rongo sub-county witnessed a dramatic scene after a student stormed into his former school and attacked his headteacher.
According to reports from reliable sources, the former class 8 student whose name was not revealed, left the Arundo primary headteacher with injuries on his body.
The incident is reported to have happened since the student had not yet been cleared by the school. The student had lost several items while learning in Arundo. He was asked to provide them or pay for them before he could get cleared and issued with his final certificates.
Nobody knows why the student decided to do such an act to his headteacher. The school management reported the incident to the police. Unfortunately, the police arrived after the student had fled.
The area police commander confirmed this incident and a police manhunt has been launched to find the disciplined student.
What do you think should be done to reduce discipline cases among students?
