Yesterday president Uhuru Kenyatta give hope to Kenyan after he partially opened the country especially the five counties of Nairobi, Kajiado, Nakuru, Kiambu and Machakos that he imposed some strict measures after third wave of Covid 19 that proved very strong.
He lifted the ban and now people can now move freely in those counties and also extended the the curfew hours from 8:pm to 10pm. On opening of school he ordered the school to reopen as it was planned earlier and this give learner hope of proceeding with their studies.
Today that has been shattered by claims from the head teachers association who argue that the school lack adequate find to cater for the needs of the learners. They are urging the government to send the 30% capitation inorder to meet the needs of learners at this era of pandemic. The other group that raised concerns is parent association that also raised alarm over opening school due la k of fees after hard time.
This is likely to stress learners country wide who have gone through very hard since the pandemic hit the country. Majority of Kenyan view that should have on August 2021
