We recently heard of a student assaulting a teacher because of the punishment they receive, but that is no longer the case after Jenifer Ndwiga, a Form 1 student, added Viagra to the staffroom tea in retaliation for being punished on Thursday afternoon by a teacher at Murumbe High School in Embu County.

It's sad, but the majority of Kenyans' reactions might persuade you otherwise, given that a large percentage of them were simply posting humorous reactions in the comments section.

This follows the assault on Pius Mugambi, a Physics and Chemistry teacher at Oldonyiro Secondary School, by three pupils on June 30 after they were told to stop eating in the sufuria.
After a nine-month break and the freedom of waking up to nothing, several schools were burned down one after the other, and we may assume that most pupils were trying to re-adapt to school life. Life was not easy, especially with such a strict and constrained schedule.
