The ministry of education is on crossroads. Some are of the view that all learner's to report on September 6th for third term then revert back to the normal calendar of education which begins on January.

The education sector in Kenya and other countries suffered a great blow when cases of Covid-19 emerged and learning calenders has not resumed back to its normalcies in most part of the world.

The ministry of Educationa has set May 8,2021 as secondary schools reopening date for third term and gave firm instructions to school principals not to sent home any student for non payments of school fees as parent have been hit badly economically by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The opposing section is of the view that learner's should not be strained anymore and instead be allowed to complete their third term as from 10th of May then be given a 5 month holiday as vaccination continue.

Its all await and see game as stakeholders are to meet on Friday this week.
