Over the last few weeks, student unrest has been at an all time high as many schools have seen fires that are sometimes as a result of students and other times the source has not been known.

Some schools, National and Top Performing Schools notwithstanding, have seen the fires and the unrest in equal measure as the smaller schools.
Nyambaria Boys High School from Nyamira County which is one of the top performing schools in the country, witnessed student unrest a few weeks ago.
The form four students had told the Principal of the school that they want a break and will be back at a date when they will communicate.
They students have been at home for a while and the school has finally communicated to the parents on a return to school formula.
According to the morning news on EGESA FM, a popular Radio station of the Gusii dialect, the students have been told to clear all outstanding fee balances and return with their parents tomorrow on Monday, 29th November.
