The Commission which is currently under the leadership of Dr. Nancy Macharia as the serving Chief Executive of Officer (CEO) has been working round the clock to ensure that teachers work in conducive environments.
With the introduction of teacher intern contracts, TSC has been able to recruit thousands of unemployed but trained teachers in various countries.
The latest recruitment has just been completed, however, not all unemployed teachers were contacted to attend to the scheduled interviews.
According to reports, only qualified candidates were contacted in line with their year of stay after graduation.
Despite that, it is now a sigh of relief to unemployed teachers as TSC has confirmed another recruitment that is set to be conducted in December.
A total of 4,000 teachers are expected to be recruited on internship contracts. The current salary for a primary school teacher intern is ksh: 15,000 while the secondary school teacher intern is ksh: 20,000.
