2020 KCPE Results to be released in two weeks time

Prof George Magoha has said that 2020 KCPE results will be released in two weeks time.

He said this on Tuesday, April 6th adding that the marking of the multiple papers was complete and only English Composition and Kiswahili Insha still in progress.

Magoha also pleaded with the principals to allow students with fee arrears sit for their KCSE examinations.

He noted that they experienced challanges during the marking due to the COVID 19 Restrictions by the government being that the examiners were not able to show up for marking due to the lockdown imposed by the government in the 5 metropolitan Counties.

Je was pleased that even though some examiners did not show up, it did not interfere with the marking process.

"As I said, we are on track, we shall keep on updating you on the progress and we shall keep sharing any event that we find necessary," Magoha said.

This announcement come at a time when examinations irregularities has been sited all over the country. KNEC has layed out serious rules dealing with such irregularities.

Magoha also discovered the tricks learners use to cheat in examination rooms such as sneaking with mobile phones, writing on the masks and many others.

He also said that gone are the days when examinations were been stolen.. and that these are not the days for those practices.

"Nobody should never imagine that in this day and age, you will do what you used to do many years ago.

"We shall ensure that the sanctity of these examinations is restored," said Magoha.
