
All schools; primary and secondary are to open today for their second term and education ministry cabinet secretary Dr. Ezekiel Machogu has sent a warning to all schools for the safety of students. Machogu said that schools should be vigilant on what is consumed by students while in school.
"We have issued a circular asking everyone to be cautious with food and water out students are take, taking into consideration of schools which have had cases because of contaminated food and water." Machogu said.
CS Machogu also slammed reports on social media that schools have changed opening dates from today, he clarified that opening dates is today Monday.
"Schools are opening schools on Monday. I have sent in social media stories which have not emanated from the ministry or have not originated from myself so ignore what is in social media." Machogu clarified.
