The Kenya National Examination Council conducted the Kenya certificate of primary education examinations last month on 28.11.2022 to 30.11.2022.
Marking of the exams commenced immediately where a special computer which identifies the marked options aids in the marking of the Mathematics, Science, Kiswahili Lugha, English Language and Social studies and religious education papers, teachers only mark the English composition and Kiswahili Lugha which cannot be marked with the available machines.
Cabinet secretary for education Ezekiel Machogu has released the KCPE results today of 1,244,188 learners who sat to the KCPE exams in various examination centres across the entire country. The first candidate scored 431 marks up from 2021 KCPE results where the top candidate scored 428 marks.
Now the results are officially out and any candidate or parent/guardian who wants to access the results should send a text message with the index number of the candidate to the code 20076, it can be sent through any of the three network providers of Safaricom, Airtel and Telcom.
