It was just last week that the process of form one admissions at different schools around the country began, and it is expected to continue for another week when the kids return to school.
Some schools have a low turnout of form one pupils, which has caused concern among educational institutions about whether or not they would be able to recruit students from these schools in the future.
In an article published on the Standard digital news website, Prof George Magoha, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Education, said that parents would not be able to change their children's schools.
CS President George Magoha has announced that all pupils must report to the schools to which they have been assigned, and that there would be no further shifting of schools, as numerous parents had requested.
"The problem of moving schools should be put on hold for the time being, and the children should attend the schools where they have been assigned." On the Form One admissions, CS George Magoha made a statement.
