Death is cruel. Death is too painful. Death devastates families and communities especially if the deceased is important member of society.
This mourning the sombre mood has engulfed United State International University following the death of Dr Oliver Amwayi who until her untimely death was lecturer and Director of Quality Assurance at the University.
Dr Oliver Amwayi was an illustrious scholar and academician at University. He joined United States International University in January 2011 as a curriculum developer and served in capacity upto December 2014. In 2015 she was appointed as Director of Quality Assurance the position she has been holding until her demise.
Dr Oliver Amwayi pursued her Bachelor degree in Education at Catholic University of East Africa. She then enrolled for Masters of Education (Curriculum Studies) at the same university from 1998 to 2020. She later pursued Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) from 2004 to 2007.
Dr Oliver Amwayi has been eulogized as a shrewed scholar, educator and officer who worked tirelessly to improve the quality of education offered at United States International University. May her soul rest in peace
