Twenty-six students have tested positive of the Covid- 19 virus hours after the state administration condemned primary and secondary schools' shutdown. Karnataka high school has caused much worry to parents all over India to the point that the government on Friday ordered the closure of higher and professional courses till April 20. Karnataka high school has suspended classes six to nine until further notice, while the rest of the classes 10-12 have an option to attend either physical or online classes as long as the students obey the Covid-19 prevention measures. The government has further ordered cinema halls only to allow 50% of seating capacity. Other social environments such as meeting halls, gyms, swimming pools, and clubhouses have been suspended. According to the health department in Karnataka since Friday, the state has seen an upsurge of new infections and six death so far. Following the state's lockdown, the civic and police are urging people to follow the norms strictly.
