Teachers Receive Good News on a TSC Allowance As Ruto's CBC Taskforce Faces The First Hurdle

The Government is changing the curriculum from the old to the new one that is yet to be fully implemented in schools. At the moment, the implementation process is in grade six.Hopefully, January next year will witness the commencement of the implementation process in secondary schools. This grade is expected to be the pioneers in Junior secondary schools.

Just yesterday, President Ruto announced a new taskforce that will look into the modalities of the implementation of the new curriculum and the possibilities of implementation or not. However, the taskforce has met the first hurdle.Kenya University Staff Union(KUSU) has faulted Ruto for omitting them in the team that will look into the curriculum.KUSU Secretary General Charles Mukwhaya says that even teachers unions have been omitted. What next for Ruto?

On the other hand, teachers from Narok county will reap big as TSC is set to give them the hardship allowance.A meeting that brought the members of the Commission and the new governor Mr Ole Ntutu has ended up sealing the deal for teachers who are in Narok county. In deed it's is some good news to teachers.
