According to what the management at Buruburu High School said, there was a technical problem and basically the dormitory caught fire due to misalignment of the electric wires. The girls however had a different version and they said that they decided to burn the school because of tough rules from their new principal who they claimed she has to leave. The girls are supposed to resume learning on Monday this coming week and the school management has passed out very tough orders that have to be met by parents when they resume. According to reports from Citizen TV, on Monday, parents will have to go with their children at school with all fees arrears cleared. Also, they have to fully prepare themselves with money since the damages brought by their own children have to be catered for. The amount to cater for damages has not yet been publicized but they have to prepare accordingly.
