Cases of fire in secondary schools continue to worsen day by day. Learners still seem to be airing their grievances through setting their domitories on fire. Cabinet secretary Dr George Magoha earlier on had a meeting with education officials to discuss the matter of fire incidents in schools.

From the look of things, Students are gaining momentum in burning of dormitories. Over 20 Schools now have been reported to have been affected by fire. Several Schools have been shut down and students forced to go back home.

According to Rongo news Facebook page, it is being reported that a dormitory at Kodero Bara secondary school in Migori county is on fire right now. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. The fire started in the evening when Students were on their evening preps.
