Following tne increament in the rate of infection, it is actually time for every citizen to take part in the fight against this deadly virus. Currently, great concern is all about how schools should be reopened and students resume their learning activities. But this may not be possible since the country's positivity rate is still high.
The government is then expected to put more measures that will help curb the infection rate. Since our much concern is about schooling, therefore, all teachers are expected to participate fully in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. This can be done through the following;
1. Maximum observation of all Covid-19 protocols.
Teachers are expected to be on the frontline in paying attention to all Covid-19 protocols which includes proper sanitation, wearing of face masks and keeping of social distancing. Teachers should ensure that they saty safe and also participate in creating awareness among kenyans on the importance of obeying corona virus needs.
Teachers should make an effort to be vaccinated with the astrazeneca jab to boost their immune system before schools are reopened. This will help reduce the rate of infection therefore, teachers stand a chance to fight Covid-19.
It is my opinion that no teacher should miss the vaccine. Those that have not received should make an effort to get access to health centres to be injected.
As for students, their parents should advice them on how to stay safe from corona and when they resume learning, they should continue paying much attention to avoid being infected.
Kindly share this information to as many people as you can and also remember to comment.
