Drama in Kiambu After 5 Male Students are Busted in a Girls Dormitory at Night, One Beaten to Death

Detectives from Kiambu County are investigating a shocking incident where a 17-year-old student of Gathiruini Boys’ High School died after he was allegedly assaulted for illegally entering a dormitory at Komothai Girls’ High School in Githunguri, Kiambu County.

The deceased is alleged to have accessed the school with his 5 schoolmate on Wednesday night and forced themselves at one of the girls dormitory.

Seeing uninvited guests at their dormitory, the girls are said to have raised an alarm that saw him get lynched to death by a group comprising of school fraternity.

Responding from screams that rented the air, Komothai Girls' High School security guards, learners and staff members rushed to the dormitory where the incident was taking place.

George Ng’ang’a Karanja, the manager of the security firm security providing services to school said that five of the boys managed to escape but the deceased was cornered and beaten by the responding team sustaining serious injuries.

He was later rushed to the Kigumo Level 4 Hospital while unconscious, but died upon arrival.

Police who visited the school said that they recovered wood planks believed to have been used in the teenager’s lynching and that Investigations are underway.

Komothai Girls' and Gathiruini Boys’ High School administration is yet to give a statement on the incident that has left many shocked and wondering what the boys were looking at the school during those wee hours of the night.

The 17-year-old boy’s body was moved to Kigumo Level 4 Hospital morgue.
