The Government is in a rush to make the students get the best from all the learning institutions across the country. It has been steadfast in providing money to these institutions to see that they achieve their financial plans.
Covid-19 pandemic has disorganised the Government's plans. However, for the Universities, the death of the parallel programs has made these istitutions to suffer more financially. The Government has been left to give heavy fundings to these institutions.
The recent changes made by UoN VC Professor Kiama has seen the the Dons warn of a possible walkout by the students from the University. The high fees increments are still a blow to many students who may have had dreams to join the prestigious university.
Education CS however dismissed the changes by Kiama.Unfortunately,Professor Kiama has vowed to proceed with the reforms as planned. This has began causing confusions among workers and students.
Even before the confusion is sorted out,the students and workers from KU,JKUAT and Moi Universities are also staring at the same reforms as reported yesterday by Nation Digital.Anxiety has began rocking these Universities too since more job losses are looming.
