The 2021 teacher recruitment dates have been released by TSC. The process is done in accordance with the recruitment guideline issued by the Commission from time to time. TSC is the only body in Kenya mandated to advertise the available vacancies in teaching. Interested candidates submit their application online in the TSC portal where they would wish to be considered for employment. Four thousand secondary school teachers will be employed in this exercise.
One must meet the following requirements before being employed by the Commission;
1. Must be a Kenyan citizen
2. Must be 45 years of age and below.
3. Must be a registered teacher as stipulated in Section 23 of the Teachers Service Commission Act 2012.
Anyone who is registered but do not possess the required Certification of Registration must attach a copy of online printout of TSC Number and original bank pay-in slip for teacher registration.
Original Professional and Academic Certificates should include the following;
School Leaving Certificate
Any applicant without academic and professional certificates is required to provide evidence of having applied for confirmation from Kenya National Examination Council and it is the onus of the concerned teacher to follow-up with KNEC in a period not exceeding 14 days.
