Kenyatta University is one of the oldest institutions in the country and has been embraced by thousands of students each year who troupe to the institution to get their bit of the knowledge shared there.
The institution is also home to one of the best refferal hospitals in the country that is known as the Kenyatta University Teaching Refferal and Research Hospital.
A few weeks ago, the President of Kenya laid foundation for an institution that will be constructed by the World Health Organization but the land brought trouble to the board.
The Vice Chancellor, Proffesor Wainana is said to have gotten into trouble and suspended by the institution after he refused to hand of the institution's title deed for the land.
This is days after the court is said to have reinstated him back to his position and the students danced with him from the gate to the office.
He has been replaced by Waceke Wanjohi as per the reports by the Kenyatta University Council Chairman, Chrispus Kiamba.
