We all know that hardwork pays. We expect to enjoy after toiling. They say that hardwork plus sweat equals joy.
The saying has been disapproved today by the one Diana Nyokabi, a former pupil at Bungoma D.E.B Primary School. Her hardwork seems going Unrewarded because after scoring 401 in this year's K.C.P.E exam and securing a chance at Moi Girls High School in Eldoret, sources indicate that she has missed the County Scholarship Fund in Bungoma County.
This has forced the girl to go back to her former school and repeat class eight. The head teacher of the former school Mr.Tobias Khisa says that he received the news about the girl going back to school with great shock.
Nyokabi's mother Priscilla Nyanchera who's a grocery seller says that the news are disheartening since she had banked on her daughter to boost her future.
Sources indicate that the parents of Nyokabi were to raise sh.53554 as fees for their daughter to join Moi Girls High School something which is impossible.
They are now calling on the government to come in and ensure their daughter joins Form 1.
