The President of the Republic of Kenya through the Ministry of Education has finally given all teachers a reason to smile all the way to their banks as the Government surprises them with huge and extra boosting funds ahead of school reopening.

The Government has announced an establishment of Training Revolving Fund (TRF) that will be administered to teachers through the Ministry of Public Service and Gender (MPSG) in an urge of helping teachers further their studies away from the education related course but in different disciplines.

The Training Revolving Fund will be administered by the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) in the form of a loan, not limited only to teachers but includes people involved in the public teaching service.

Interested applicants are informed that they can now borrow the funds for professional self development in any of the 84 critical listed courses. Teachers are set to benefit with an amount ranging between Ksh 30,000 to Ksh 500,000 per year subject to ability to repay the loan.
