University of Nairobi and Makerere University are East African universities. The two universities are some of the largest universities in Kenya and Uganda respectively. Today let us compare infrastructure of these two universities so that we can identify which one is giant in terms of infrastructure.
Let us have a look at UoN first. The University of Nairobi is collegiate research university based in Nairobi. It is one of the largest universities in Kenya and Africa at large. Although its history as an educational institution dates back to 1956,it did not become an independent university until1970.
Undergraduate is about 70,000,total enrollment 2015 is 98,713. UoN is very large with good infrastructure, below is University of Nairobi.
Makerere university, Kampala is the Uganda's largest and oldest institution of higher learning,first established as a technical school in 1922. It became independent national university 1970. In 2018, students were about 35,000+. It is one of the best universities in Africa.
