KNEC Insist School Heads To Hurry In Registering Candidates Before Deadline Due To The Following

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) is a body whose responsibility is to oversee national examination in Kenya.

Following the order given out to both heads of primary and secondary schools in Kenya by KNEC chairman, John Onsati alerted the principals and head teachers that the 2021 KCPE/KCSE exam registration and KCSE qualifying test examinations are ongoing and shall last for only six(6) day to the deadline.

Due to the fact that late registration is always accompanied by rush, many of the challenges might be witnessed by the KNEC officials during examination organization. These problems are always caused by the teachers who register their candidates late as they make several errors due to hurry.

Onsati therefore requested all the Head teachers and sub-county education officers to ensure that they log onto the KNEC portal before this deadline which is expected to end on 31st July so that they can capture the details of the candidates.

For the transparency and clear tallying of the Candidates' details to the KNEC board for examination arrangements, the school heads should ensure that their candidates are registered with documents which are valid and acceptable as registrations regulations is concerned.

The learners are therefore requested to ensure they take to school the required documents such as birth certificate and their KCPE certificates for the case of the form four students.
