Headmistress Denies Grade 6 Pupil A Chance To Sit For KPSEA Examinations Over Ksh 2000

A grade 6 Pupil at Kibumbu primary school located in Tharaka Nithi has been left devastated after she was denied a chance to sit for her KPSEA Examinations.

According to reports shared, the pupil allegedly stole the money towards the end of last term and she had not paid back. The school headmistress Mrs Hellen Njeri Chabari insisted that the girl would only be allowed to sit for her examinations upon Payment of Ksh 2000.

Boda boda operators who were emphatic with the pupil pleaded with Mrs Hellen promising to pay the money back on her behalf, but she was hesitant and declined to open the gate for the girl.

It was until the County Director of Education, Mrs Bridget Wambua intervened after the girl was found in a bush crying alone. She then sat for the second paper having missed to sit for a maths one
