Pokot South member of parliament honorable David Pkosing has given a worrying statement to the nation concerning public universities after he has alleged that they risk being shut down.

He has narrated that finance and education cabinet secretaries must show up in the house so that they can give explanations and come clean on the issue at hand.
"I'm a going to make a suggestion madam speaker for the committee to look at it. Maybe madam speaker we need to take this issue primarily and very important and do a kamukunji. Why don't do a kamukunji and bring the minister and all those people who are concerned. Bring the minister for finance and education, let them come to the house," said MP David Pkosing.
According to Pkosing, the country may end up turning into a laughing stock should they fail to provide the needed solutions especially when they shall be universities will be compelled to close down.
"We must help this area madam speaker we will be lamenting. Very soon all public universities will close and Kenya will be a laughing stock madam speaker. So I want to suggest that am not sure that raising statements," added MP David Pkosing.
