Know One Of The Best School Of Aviation In East And Central Africa

East African School of Aviation (EASA) is the training Directorate of Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA). The school is established on 87 acres of land; 15 Km East of the city of Nairobi and about five minutes’ drive from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. EASA was Founded in 1954 to provide training for Telegraphic and Teleprinter operators and was expanded in 1960 to cater for Engineering Technicians and Air Traffic Controllers. In July 1963 the operations of EASA were entrusted to ICAO and later came under the EAC. In 1982, the present modern school was built on an 87-acre site and has the capability to train all major specialized areas of civil aviation except pilot training.

Aeronautical Information Service (AIS)

The object of the aeronautical information service (AIS) is to ensure the flow of aeronautical data and aeronautical information necessary for global air traffic management (ATM) system safety, regularity, economy and efficiency in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Air Traffic Services

-prevent collisions between aircraft; provide advice of the safe and efficient conduct of flights;

-conduct and maintain an orderly flow of air traffic;

-notify concerned organizations of and assist in search and rescue operations.

Air Travel and Tourism

The travel and tourism sector comprises many different industries and sub-industries, including services such as retail travel, currency exchange, tour operators and tourist boards.

Aviation Safety

Aviation safety refers to the efforts that are taken to ensure airplanes are free from factors that may lead to injury or loss.

Aviation Security (AVSEC)

Bachelor of Business Management (Aviation Option)
