Many Kenyans had expected much from the president during the celebration of Labor day in 1st May 2021. Tough measures have been put in place to reduce the spread of this deadly coronavirus disease in the country by the government. Some counties were named as a disease zone and were partially locked down.
Today the president made some directives which came as a surprise to many Kenyans. Here are some of the directives that the president made during Labor day celebrations.
1.Bars countrywide will operate up to 7pm. This is where the president insisted on and I quote. "All bars in Kenya territory shall operate up to 7pm, and I repeat, all bars shall operate up to 7pm."

The president made it clear that all schools shall reopen according the school calendar under the the directives from the Ministry of Education.
3.Seccestion of movement for the 5 affected counties was lifted. Also churches will resume under covid-19 measures and curfew hours were revised from 8pm to 10pm.
4.Dusk to dawn curfew remained from 10pm to 4am country wide.
According to the president, he cared about the lives of the 50 million Kenyans and was his responsibility to see that these Kenyana are healthy especially during this time of coronavirus pandemic that has claimed millions of people all over the world.
