It has been two weeks since the form one admission registration was done. The ministry of education has been encouraging the 100 percent transition to be done in the whole country. This has made the ministry to carry out survey in schools and homes to ensure that all students have been taken to school.
Today, the education PS Julius Jwan toured Narok county, where he visited one of the school within Narok. The county was ranked 3rd last in 100 percent transition program. In his speech, he said that the government will continue to mop up the the form one 100 transition, to ensure all students receive education.
In one of the school he visited, he went forward to check on the infrastructure in the school, which included toilets and classes. To him, these are things that contribute to performance of any institution.
The school had send away the deputy county commissioner who had earlier came to investigate the school. The county commissioner of Narok said that no teacher will be allowed to teach without approval from the TSC.
Therefore, the PS Julius Jwan calls for audit of the county's examination performance to be done.
