Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) students have benefited from Ksh. 150, 000 bursary donated by Busia county mp Hon. Florence Mutua. KMTC officials have confirmed through its official twitter account. "Busia County Woman Representative Hon. Florence Mutua has awarded bursaries worth Kshs 150, 000 to ten KMTC Busia Campus students," reads the statement. At least ten students from Busia Campus will have their part of their fees slashed out by the amount awarded to them by Hon. Florence Mutua. The amount will boost them in order to concentrate on their class work without interference.
The amount awarded to them will reduce the send off of students to their homes in search of school fees and other personal necessities. Parents burden have been reduce and given time to look for the remaining amount in time. They will get enough time to work in order to settle the remaining amount and deposit it to the school account in time.
Other students who were left out are encourage to work hard because they will be considered in the next program me. They should therefore nee to apply for bursary loans from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) if they are in need of. The program me is normally done online with minimal requirements. Personal identification card, KRA pin, guarantors are some of the major requirements need to apply for this loan.
