The issue of school fires is still a matter of discussion that has not been resolved. Despite the fact that students were given half time to rest, some schools are still being destroyed by fire. [Photo Courtesy]
Kenyans are still wondering what was the importance of the break that the students were given. For instance, another incident of fire has been reported in Kangemi Highschool.
The fire is believed to have razed some buildings inside the school but the cause of the fire is still unknown. It is suspected that probably, the buildings were burnt down by arsonists in a series of school fires.
Kenyans are now puzzled on what is currently happening. They thought that sending students at home for a break might be a solution but it looks like we still have a long way go.
School heads, teachers, parents and students should sit down and discuss the way forward concerning what is currently happening. Fortunately, some schools have not been involved into those indiscipline cases and that is what other schools should emulate.
