Common Reasons Why Most People Fail to Succeed in Life

Success always starts with failure. If you have a close look at some of the most successful individuals that ever lived, you’ll realize that they all failed big time. Some of these people were widely considered to be massive failures in life.

Here are common reasons why most people fail to succeed in life;

Lack of Persistence and resistance

More people fail not because they lack knowledge or talent but because they just quit. It’s important to remember two words: persistence and resistance. Persist in what must be done and resist what ought not to be done.

Lack of humility

There are many people out there who accomplish a little bit and decide that they are an expert. Humility is knowing what you don’t know.

Lack of purpose in life

If you don’t have a definitive goal that you’re setting out to achieve, a purpose that you’re trying to fill, you won’t become successful. You have nothing to hit, nothing to aim at. And therefore your direction is unidentified.

Lack of discipline

Discipline is not something you’re born with. It’s not a talent. Discipline is obtained through practice. And if you want to succeed in whatever it is that you desire, you need to learn discipline.

Not believing in themselves

Belief is the foundation of everything in life. The most mind-blowing achievements would never have transpired without the belief that they were possible.

If you don’t believe in yourself, you will only sabotage your efforts and continue to come up short. The act of failing will affirm your limiting belief that you’re a failure and not deserving of success, and the cycle of destructive thinking will continue.

They haven't faced a dominating fear

There is one single fear that drives you more than anything else. You already know what that fear is and unless you make a decision to face it, you’ll never succeed at the level that fulfills you.
