The Kenya universities and colleges central placement service is mandated to place students who have done their KCSE exams to higher institutions of learning, the placement service is set to open its application window soon for the 2023 course applications by the 2022 KCSE candidates.
There are several courses which are offered in different universities and they have spefic requirenents, below are the top courses and their requirements;
Nursing
To quallify for this course, one has to have scored a minimum of C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics and English or Kiswahili.
Law
To pursue a degree in law, minimum subject requirement is a B(plain) in English or Kiswahili.
Education
This course is further divided into education sciences in which a minimum of C(plain) is needed in English, Maths and a minimum of C+ in either Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For education arts a minimum of C(plain) in English is required and a D+ in Mathematics.
Journalism
To take a degree course in journalism and mass communication, one has to get a minimum of C+ in English or Kiswahili.
