If you ever had the privilege of attending Upper Hill School in Nairobi be it for a month, a year or what felt like a life time you should grin because you are a legend.Upper Hill School has breathed life to most of prominent people in the Kenyan history.You might be aware of Michael Olunga who is an international player as well as an Engineer, you might have heard of Sauti soul music,Redfourth music just to mention a few.All of these heroes went through the soft-hard life of UpperHill school.If you never went to upperHill School then you missed a great opportunity of a lifetime.The school does not only concentrate on education as their primary goal but talent propagation is among their key agenda.I am glad to introduce you to a small history about upper Hill School that will make you come to consensus that it was indeed the best school of all times.

UpperHill School was founded by Loard Delamere- a British settler back in 1956.The school was named Delamere school afrter the founder.The school was ment to European boys and girls who could not make to Duke Of York present day Lenana School or Priest Of Wales now Nairobi school.In 1959 the school split and girls moved to Lady Delamere (State House Girls).The school is located in Upper Hill Road Near British High Commission and Teachers service commission offices.

In 1969 the school changed its name to Simba school and laiter to UpperHill School.From 1997 the school started to introduce boarding services by first initialising delamere hostels which was ment for students who were bright but needy.The school later built hostels to accommodate the growing numbers.The school has now done marvelou in its National examination and has become the best school in music festivals.As if that is not enough it has represented Kenya in Football games, Basketball games and also in Rugby Games.Long Live Mighty Upper Hill School
