School Headteacher, Luka Kiplagat, Reported Missing At Emining Ward

Kenyan and global human rights organizations have filed more than 300 cases of individuals who have gone missing under mysterious circumstances over the recent past, some of whom have later been found murdered.

Even though we are not sure that the government is involved, there aren’t many people who would have the audacity and courage to abduct someone in broad daylight except government operatives.

Missing voices, a group of human rights organisations lobbying against extra-judicial killings in Kenya, reported that it had filed many cases of disappearances over the last five years.

Today, another person was reported missing in Emining ward in Mogotio Sub-County, Baringo County.

The case is of a school headteacher, Luka Kiplagat, who reportedly went missing without a trace.

According to a Facebook post by Baringo Capital News on Sunday afternoon, Luka was last seen on October 29, 2022.

"Missing Person Alert, Luka Kiplagat. The named person has been reported missing from Saturday, 29th october, 2022." The social media post read out.

Luka is of medium height dark in skinned and jovial.

He is 55 years old. He is a school headteacher in Kaplelwo primary school, Emining ward, Mogotio sub county Baringo.

He is believed to have hired a car and travelled to unknown place. The police are still trying to establish the registration number plate of the unknown vehicle which sped off towards Nakuru on that same day.
