Faith Mumo, who is a student at Ukia Girls boarding secondary school, is believed to have sneaked out of the school at the dawn of 18th June at around 5:00hrs. Confirming the sad news, the Principal of the school has told the media that the alleged disappearance was true. She confirmed that the form two student was schooling in Ukia secondary school. She further shared Faith Mumo's registration number, 10551. She is at the verge of adolescence, now at fifteen years.
Faith Mumo is 5ft tall. Her family confirmed that their daughter is mentally stable and has no mental fluctuations. She can fluently converse in Swahili, English and Kamba as confirmed by the school administration and her family. They've confirmed her excellent mastery of these three languages. She was also one of the top candidate in the 2020 Kenya National examination council.
The school security has further confirmed that Faith Mumo probably sneaked out of the school compound successfully unnoticed and disappeared.
The family and Ukia secondary school's administration is appealing to the public to help them return home Faith Mumo.
Anyone who might be having helpful information that might lead to the recovery of the missing girl is requested to report to the school or nearest police station.
